Black Mesa Coal Silo, Arizona

This silo is at the end of a 17-mile-long conveyor connecting to the Kayenta Mine on Black Mesa. From here coal is loaded on to electric trains that take it around 80 miles on a dedicated track to the Navajo Power Plant near Page. Power from that plant serves Los Angeles and Phoenix.
