Cessna Aircraft Company Headquarters and Main Plant, Kansas

Light aircraft manufacturer Cessna has built more aircraft than any other company, and more than half of the general aircraft currently flying in the world are Cessnas. In 1992, Textron Inc., purchased Cessna from the General Dynamics Corporation for $600 million. Currently the Textron Aviation West Campus is home to Cessna's headquarters, marketing and sales divisions, as well as production facilities for its jets, while turboprop and piston aircraft are manufactured at the Textron Aviation East Campus. The Textron Aviation West Campus borders the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport.
