Grand View Chemical Waste Site
Chemical waste dump with a 2,500,000 cubic yard capacity. Located on a 120-acre site, on a former US Air Force location purchased by Envirosafe in 1981, and later purchased by US Ecology, a division of American Ecology Corporation in 2001. Accepts PCBs and other hazardous industrial chemicals from industries all over the country, by rail and truck. Also accepts some low-level radioactive waste.
