National Road/ Zane Grey Museum, Ohio

The National Road was America's first federal highway, stretching from Maryland to Illinois. It was completed in 1840, after 29 years of work, and sections of it still remain intact. The museum contains a 136-foot diorama, and life-size reconstructions of scenes along the National Road.
