Ozol Terminal (Also known as Defense Fuel Support Point Ozol), California

The defense fuel supply point at Ozol was built in the 1940's, and has a capacity of one million barrels of fuel, stored in 12 underground tanks that are hardened to withstand nuclear attack. There is a waterfront pier for ships to load and unload. The depot is connected to an interstate pipeline that carries jet fuel to the Naval Air Station in Fallon, Nevada. The facility is currently not in use (2015).
