Pilgrim’s Pride is the second largest chicken producer in the country, with 25 plants, including this one in Athens, Georgia. Georgia leads the nation in chicken production, and Pilgrims Pride has six plants there. Pilgrims Pride is now owned by JBS, the nation's third largest beef company.
