Randolph Air Force Base, Texas

Randolph Air Force Base was commissioned in 1931 as a flight training facility for the U.S. Army Air Force and later the U.S. Air Force, and continues to function in that capacity today, primarily relying on T-6A, T-38C Talon, and T-1A Jayhawk training jets. In 2010, it merged with Lackland Air Force Base and United States Army Fort Sam Houston, to form Joint Base San Antonio.
