Richford/East Pinnacle Border Crossing, Vermont

The Richford/East Pinnacle crossing is one of the lowest volume crossings in Vermont, with between 3 and 20 cars passing through per day. Despite this, a new US Port of Entry building was built couple of years ago. Due to the low volume of traffic, the Canadian government has reduced its Port of Entry hours to 8am-4pm, and is considering closing it completely, despite the new multimillion dollar Port of Entry on the US side. If this happens, it would be one of several such one-way border crossings along the US/Canada border.
