Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri

The only B2 Stealth Bomber base in the country. Whiteman was a major missile silo base, responsible for 150 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile silos located within a 5,300 square-mile area around the base. All of these Minuteman II silos have been deactivated. The base covers 4,684 acres.
