Suggested Photo Spots

846 The Photo Spot Project, completed in 1998, involved the installation of over 100 "Suggested Photo Spot" signs at selected sites from coast to coast. Sights designated as a "Suggested Photo Spot" were places not normally associated with tourist photography, but that had photogenic qualities nonetheless. Examples include the Great Falls of the Mohawk, at Cohoes, New York (which once rivaled Niagara as a tourist attraction, but which are now dry, due to water diversions), and the waste water treatment facility for the Kodak company's headquarters.
