The Center’s exhibit space and offices in Los Angeles offers exhibits and other resources for the public. A small bookstore stocks CLUI publications, and titles of special interest from other publishers.

There is always an exhibit on view during our open hours. Currently on display:

Open 12 to 5 PM Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.*
Closed Christmas Day and New Years Day.

MTA buses #33 and #333, and the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus #12 all stop on Venice Blvd. You can also pick up the nearby Culver City Buses #1, #5, and #7 on Washington Blvd. The Culver City stop on the Exposition Line of the Metro Rail is at Robertson and Venice, two blocks east of the CLUI.

*The CLUI is following health and safety protocols from the City and County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, including required masks and reduced occupancy. 
COVID-19 Guidelines:
-Protective face coverings must be worn over the nose and mouth at all times
-Guests must maintain a social distance of 6 feet from CLUI staff and other visitors not in their household
-Maximum capacity: 5 people
-No restroom, library, or office access
-Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance
-High-touch surfaces are cleaned regularly
-Please do not visit if you: are feeling unwell; have had a positive COVID-19 test within the past two weeks; have been advised to self-quarantine by a medical professional, or have had contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past two weeks
-Per City of Los Angeles ordinance, visitors must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test administered within 72 hours of arrival
