This earth station is located less than a mile north of Dish Network’s teleport in Mount Jackson, Virginia, outside of the Washington DC Federal Arc. It was recently acquired by Telesat, an old satellite company, now newly configured and based in Ottawa, Canada. The site was previously owned by Loral Skynet, and a portion of the property is still owned by Verizon, which operates some dishes there.
