Washington International Gateway is the largest commercial teleport in the DC area. It is operated by SES, one of the largest satellite communication companies in the world. SES does a lot of work with the US government. Their Government Solutions division, based in McLean, Virginia, operates earth stations for the government at Offutt, Schriever, New Boston, and Thule, Greenland.
