Operated by Diversified Communications Inc., the Washington Teleport is a satellite earth station and media production center in downtown DC, with 25 antennas on its roof, primarily used for video production by the area’s newsmakers (Congress, the White House, State Department, Defense Department, etc.) earth stations keynote textand news gatherers (ABC, CBS, NBC, etc.). The building is connected to major fiber routes.
