American Center for Mobility, Michigan
The American Center for Mobility is one of the largest test and development centers for autonomous and automated vehicles. It was built starting around 2015, on the site of the former World War II bomber plant at Willow Run airport. Full-scale highways, intersections, suburban grids, traffic lights, and other features have been constructed, as well as a 700 foot long tunnel, and two triple-decker overpasses, which go over the site’s continuous highway loop, as well as a public state highway.
