Atterbury Range, Indiana

The Atterbury Impact Range is an 8,000 acre impact area within the 33,500 acres of the diverse training grounds of Camp Atterbury, in the rolling hills 30 miles south of Indianapolis. The impact range has a mock surface-to-air missile site, urban complex (made of shipping containers), a convoy target, and several other mostly vehicle and shipping container based targets. The rest of the base is used for firing ranges and other tactical training by Navy SEALs and others. The range is run by the Indiana National Guard and the US Army Reserve.
