Beltsville Communication Annex, Maryland

The US State Department operates an unmarked communications facility on the US Department of Agriculture’s 7,000 acre Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in Maryland. It is a relay facility for the Diplomatic Telecommunications Service, which supplies secure global communications network for US foreign services. It shares the hilltop with the even more secure and sensitive Special Collections Service, a CIA/NSA information gathering entity.
