Bollen Range, Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania
Fort Indiantown Gap is an 18,000 acre reserve forces training base near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with 1,300 buildings and 170 ranges and training areas covering the hills behind the main base. Though there has been some conversion of the base to civilian use, there is still a diverse collection of training facilities including mock towns and ammunition depots. Also on site are more than 160 scorable tactical targets, including tanks, trains, convoys, an airfield, and other impact targets, located on the Bollen Range Air-to-Ground Weapons Range Complex.
