Bravo 17 Bombing Range, Nevada

Bravo 17 is the most built-up of the four air-to-ground impact target ranges associated with Fallon Naval Air Station, the Navy’s top gun training base nearby in Fallon, Nevada. Bravo 17 has a mock airfield with numerous strategic targets, made from surplus military aircraft, shipping containers, tires, vehicles, and mounded earth. There are simulated munition bunker areas, industrial compounds, surface-to-air missile batteries, convoys, and several few bullseye type targets. There is also an unusual cantonment area prop, with a hundred buildings, built at half-scale.
