Cabazon, California

Cabazon has two "larger than life" dinosaurs, next to a truck stop, which were constructed by a man named Claude Bell, over the course of two decades, starting in 1964.  The tyrannosaurus has an observation deck inside its head, affording "a magnificent view out Mr. Rex's teeth."  The dinosaurs have appeared in a number of movies, including Pee Wee's Big Adventure.  In the mid-1990s they were sold to an Orange County-based developer, MKA, and the dinosaurs have been reopened as a creationist museum called World's Biggest Dinosaurs, with a gift shop in the room inside the belly of the brontosaurus.
