CF Industries operates several significant nitrogen production facilities in the USA, including the Woodward Nitrogen Plant, located in the Anadarko Basin, part of the oil and gas patch of western Oklahoma, which draws its gas from the region to produce ammonia and UAN (urea-ammonium nitrate).
