City Center Resort, Nevada

City Center is a casino resort and shopping center on the strip in Las Vegas. When it opened in 2009, City Center was the largest single private development in US history – built at a cost of more than $9 billion. It has 16,797,000 square feet of floorspace, divided into several structures, designed by different famous architects, but was built as a single structure with a multiple-building theme. It has 6,790 hotel rooms. In a sense it is Las Vegas fully matured: A city-center-themed development that is on the scale of, and in other ways resembles, an actual city center.
