Coronado Naval Amphibious Base, California

The West Coast hub for amphibious Naval operations, and host to tenant units, such as the Naval Special Warfare Command and the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group. The base was created in 1943 from land reclaimed by the dredging of San Diego Bay, and is the only Naval amphibious base on the West Coast.
