Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant, Michigan

The Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant is located in Bridgman, Michigan, adjacent to Lake Michigan's southeastern shoreline. The plant is home to two pressurized water reactors, and is operated by Indiana Michigan Power Company, on behalf of owner American Electric Power. Unit 1 has an output capacity of 1,020MW, while Unit 2 has an output capacity of 1,090MW. Unit 1's operating license was issued in 1974, while Unit 2's operating license was issued in 1977.
