Flying D Ranch, Montana

Former media mogul and former Jane Fonda husband, Ted Turner, founder of CNN, and Turner Broadcasting, owns this 113,613 acre ranch, with one of the largest herds of bison in the country. It is the largest of the four ranches he owns in Montana, but not the largest of the 16 ranches that he owns across the west. Turner is often ranked as one of the top three largest individual land owners in the USA, with close to 2 million acres (his holdings were surpassed a few years ago by another media mogul, John Malone).
