Ford Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant, Kentucky

This plant, near Louisville, opened in 1969, and is one of the largest automotive assembly plants in the country. It covers 4,626,490 square feet on a site nearly a square mile in size. Inside are more than 30 miles of conveyor belts making Ford’s F250 to F550 trucks, as well as Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators, the company’s larger SUVs.
