Fort Dix, New Jersey

The largest military installation in the Northeast, Fort Dix covers 55 square miles in central New Jersey. The primary mission of the base is infantry training. Fort Dix has an Air Force Base on its western edge, McGuire Air Force Base, and a Naval Air Station on its eastern edge, Lakehurst Naval Air Engineering Station.
