Glasgow Airport, Montana
A former World War Two Army airfield, for bomber training, with large runways and slabs from the old base located on the western side. There was also a German POW camp established here. It is now just a huge and mostly empty country airport in the remote northeastern corner of Montana. The National Weather Service operates a radar station here. The Valley County Pioneer Museum in town has some displays about its history. A more unusual airport is located twelve miles north of town, at the Montana Aviation Research site.
