GM Wentzville Assembly Plant, Missouri

Opened in 1983, to make the usual Buicks, Oldsmobiles, and Pontiacs, but later made trucks and cargo vans. It is now the primary domestic plant for GMs smaller pickups, like the Chevy Colorado. It is one of less than a dozen vehicle assembly plants operated by GM in the USA. Another dozen or so have been shuttered over the years.
