Haiwee Power Plant, California

Haiwee is a power plant at the base of a drop in the aqueduct, downstream of the Haiwee Reservoirs. It is the last of the aqueduct power plants in the Owens Valley. These plants generate electricity from the falling water along the LA Aqueduct, with flows by gravity to Los Angeles, around 180 miles away from here.
