Honeywell Phoenix, Arizona

Honeywell's Aerospace businesses, whose annual sales can total around $10 billion in a good year, are headquartered here in Phoenix. In 1999, AlliedSignal (already a major presence in the aerospace industry), acquired Honeywell for $15 billion, subsequently deciding to retain the Honeywell name. Honeywell occupies several maintenance, assembly, R&D centers and offices on and around Phoenix Sky Harbor airport.
