Iroquois Dam, New York

The Iroquois Dam was built as part of the St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Project, to control the output of the Great Lakes upstream, and the amount of water coming through the Robert Moses-Robert Saunders Dam, 25 miles downstream, and the rest of the St. Lawrence River. The Iroquois Dam spans the river, and thus the International Boundary.
