Malta Global Foundries Plant, New York

Large microchip plant for Global Foundries, a manufacturing company which took over the semiconductor division of IBM. The company also operates two former IBM chip plants, in East Fishkill NY, and Burlington VT. This facility is located at the old Malta Test Station, a former rocket and propulsion test site north of Albany, New York, which has been undergoing redevelopment for years.
