Mann’s was the largest shipper of broccoli worldwide for decades; today, the vegetable supplier grows and ships more than 30 different commodities including cauliflower, asparagus, carrots, and romaine lettuce on 10,000 acres, with washed, ready-to-eat and value-added produce making up more than fifty percent of its production. Among them is the vegetable hybrid broccolini, bred from broccoli and Chinese kale, for which Mann owns the trademark.
