Microsoft Quincy Data Center, Washington

Microsoft was the first company to build a data center in the remote farming town of Quincy, Washington, in 2006. It has since expended into four buildings, and at least 1.5 million square feet, making it one of the company’s largest data centers. There are now four other company’s with major dedicated data centers here, all in the northeast part of town: Yahoo; Dell; Sabey’s Intergate Quincy; and Vantage, a data center development company, which built its first data center outside Santa Clara here in 2012.
