Oahe Dam and Lake, South Dakota

The Oahe Dam, on the Missouri River, is the second largest volume embankment dam in the USA. It created Lake Oahe, the fourth-largest manmade reservoir in the United Sates, which extends up the engorged Missouri River valley for more than 150 miles, almost to Bismark, North Dakota.
