Point Udall Monument, US Virgin Islands, US Territories
The east end of St. Croix Island, the largest of the three primary US Virgin Islands, has a monument marking the easternmost point in the USA, at Point Udall, named after Stuart Udall, a former Secretary of the interior. The westernmost point of the USA is on Guam, a territorial island in the Pacific, and is also called Point Udall, but is named after Stuart’s brother Morris, a congressman from Arizona.
