R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant is home to one pressurized water reactor, with an output of 576MW. The plant's operating license was granted in 1969, making it one of the older ones still in operation. It is located on Lake Ontario, 20 miles east of Rochester. The plant is owned and operated by Exelon Corporation.
