Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant, New Hampshire

Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant (also known as Seabrook Station), sits on a 900-acre site, two miles inland from the coast of southern New Hampshire. It is home to a single pressurized water reactor with an output capacity of 1,244MW, making it the second largest nuclear power plant in New England, after Connecticut's Millstone Nuclear Power Plant. The plant's operating license was issued in 1975, and it is owned and operated by NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. The plant uses water from the Atlantic Ocean for cooling, which is transported in and out via two three-mile-long tunnels.
