Sooner Power Plant, Oklahoma

The Sooner Power Plant is a coal-fired power plant located near Red Rock, Oklahoma, adjacent to Sooner Lake, a 5,400-acre, man-made reservoir, from which it draws its cooling water. The plant has units, with a combined output capacity of 1,138MW. It went online in 1980. The plant is owned and operated by Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E).
