St. Anthony Coptic Orthodox Monastery, California


An orthodox monastery in the desert east of Barstow. There are several facilities on-site, including the main U-shaped building, which houses a church, four cells, and a refectory for the monks. Also on-site is a pond and a book and gift shop. The monastery also maintains a 30-acre property nearby in Newberry Springs, which it uses for retreats.
