Ste. Zacharie Border Crossing, Maine

The Ste. Zacharie border crossing is the southernmost of the five dirt road border crossings between Quebec, and the North Maine Woods. Like the others, it serves the industry pulling logs out of the US, to be processed in Canada. It is the northernmost crossing on one of the most convoluted and remote stretches of the entire international boundary in the Lower 48, known as the Highlands.
