An Atlas E intercontinental missile silo, and the 34 acres of land around it, has been converted into a private home by Ed and Donna Peden, who have been living underground there since 1994. They make the site visitible to interested groups, and “invite eclectic and esoteric learning experiences that create sustainable lifestyle models and project a transformational vision of peace to the world.” They also operate 20^th Century Castles LLC, marketing a few other missile sites for sale around the USA, including this one, which they will let go of for somewhere north of $3million.
