Supervalu Hopkins Distribution Center, Minnesota

Supervalu is one of the largest retail grocery companies in the country, and this is one of its largest warehouse and distribution centers. It is located in suburban Minneapolis, near the company’s headquarters in Eden Prairie. Supervalu has more than 2,400 stores, including the Sav A Lot, Lucky, Shop n Save, and Shaws store brands. It serves these stores with products packed and distributed under house brands such as Shoppers Valu, Homelife, and Culinary Circle. The company has 29 distribution centers in USA. This one has two large warehouses, and is across the highway from the Excelsior Crossing Campus, the main corporate operations center for Cargill, of one of the nation's largest meat and agriculture companies, which is also based in the Minneapolis area.
