Tippet Rise Art Center, Montana

A 12,000 acre art park in southern Montana, that opened in 2016, to experience music and art in nature. Inspired by New York’s Storm King, but bigger, and western – rolling grassland with the backdrop of the Beartooth Mountains - it was created by the artists, collectors, and patrons Cathy and Peter Halstead. So far just a few works have been commissioned or placed on sites outdoors, but they are large, ambitious, and modern. Concerts and performances occur too. Most of the time it is closed to the public and is a working ranch.
