Towers Industrial Park, California

Industrial park built beneath five AM radio broadcast towers. Built in the early 1990s in an effort to use the empty field beneath the five radio towers, this 500,000+ sq. foot warehouse complex contains 1.25 million square feet of chicken wire embedded in its walls and ceilings as well as a grid of cable covering the main loading bay. The wire and cable acts to shield the workers below against over 50% of the harmful radio frequency radiation emitted by the towers.
