Tulalip Test Site Site, Washington

Boeing oprated a field test center at this old military storage depot near Marysville. Numerous munitions igloos line the roads that loop through the wooded site, and Boeing had several cleared areas where test stands supported full airframes, test engines, and performed other outdoor field trials, mostly conducted by the Defense and Space divisions of the company. Boeing shut the facility down in the early 2000s, and portions have been redeveloped in to retail, though structures from the test site remain.
