Woodbine Teleport, Maryland

Woodbine Teleport was a GE earth station for their Americom satellite network, and established in 1982. In 2001, Americom had 13 satellites, and was purchased by Luxembourg-based SES, a European global satellite company. The facility had fiber connections to Level 3’s hub in Mclean, VA.
