Frontier Town was an Adirondacks family attraction that closed in 1999. It opened in 1952 and had an Old West theme. When Frontier Town closed, it rotted away in the bushes for many years, while the land was slowly sold off. Some of its pieces have found their way to other places in the region (such as its sign lettering, which is now at the Leather Outlet, south of Lake George).
