The Knollwood Club is a Great Camp built in 1890, originally for six families who were excluded from other hotels and clubs because they were Jewish. It is one of several camps designed by William A. Coulter. Many famous figures visited regularly, including Albert Einstein, who was there when the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
